Like anything in life, looks can be deceiving. If you are hiring a personal injury attorney based solely upon a television commercial, a billboard, a phone book advertisement or a direct mail solicitation, you are making a potentially huge mistake. The amount a lawyer invests in marketing does not suggest they are the right lawyer for you. We have all seen the TV ads with a celebrity endorsing a lawyer on TV; but remember that same celebrity probably shoots dozens of those commercials in a day and knows absolutely nothing about the qualifications of those lawyers using this paid actor in their commercials.
